Product Details
+This beautiful antique Victorian Rock Crystal pendant necklace was made during the Arts and Crafts movement, Circa 1900.
The Arts and Crafts movement breathed new life into the design of jewellery in the late 19th century. Inspired by the ideas of John Ruskin and William Morris, it advocated a revival of traditional handicrafts which used romantic, folk decoration with an influx of colour and sparkle to counteract the rather mechanised industrialisation of modern design.
The wonderful necklace boasts a large Rock Crystal pendant fitted to a lovely Silver piece engraved with berries and leaves.
The beautiful clear Rock Crystal is a colourless form of Quartz that has been valued throughout history by spiritual leaders who believed the stone was divine.
The necklace is set in Silver and adorned with lovely Rock Crystal balls which chase up the chain.
This is a truly unique antique necklace that looks fabulous when worn, a great talking piece!
